I'm no coder but the excellent ZXDS ZX Spectrum emulator that workd on both DS and 3DS uses wifi link for two player games, which is incredible especially as the Spectrum is from early eighties when handheld consoles and wifi were non existent. So maybe this could work for GB etc? For the price, the Nintendo 2DS is a great buy. If you need something that is simpler, then this would be it. Without an extremely large screen or 3D capabilities, it provides kids with a way to play many different games. Or just emulate GBA games. Nintendo 2DS is backwards compatible, so you also have the entire library of Nintendo DS games to replay or discover!

The smaller Nintendo DS game cards fit into a slot on the top of the system, while Game Boy Advance games fit into a slot on the bottom.
